So much life happens in between blogs and somehow the time zips by in a blur. I have been knitting, although not as much as during my winter knitting frenzy.
I finally broke down and bought the Lorna's Laces Lion and Lamb yarn to make the Clapotis scarf in the gorgeous yarn used in the pattern pictures and it's just as soft and amazing as Kate Gilbert says it is. Plus the colors - it's like knitting with a sunset. I love it.
I have a new job, still medical transcription, for an eye clinic in Texas. It's okay. Basically, I look at my job as a way to buy yarn and art supplies and other necessities of life but, as jobs go, it's not that bad.
Here's a mobius shawl I'm working on. I bought some lovely yarns in Mendocino, one of my favorite places on earth, a gorgeous art-oriented coastal Northern California town.
And here's a Kitty Pi bed I'm making. It'll be felted and hopefully, when it is, it'll have a good size and shape for my kitties. I made it with Spot in mind and he's a pretty big boy.
And as long as I'm showing off pictures of my babies, here's Katie.
Aren't they the sweetest things you've ever seen?
